There are many ways to create your own geoglyph or drawings and the examples given here all use temporary methods, but note that in some cases permission must be sought from the owner of the land or equipment.
The first question is how to scale up from your design drawing, and there are two ways of tackling this: Draw a grid of squares over your design and replicate this on a bigger scale for the full size version, taking care to copy the contents of each square very accurately. Alternatively mark three refrence points on the drawing, then use triangulation points and string on the ground to find the position of key features in the design.
How you make the lines depends upon the surface: Everybody has written their name with a stick in wet sand on a beach, and a drawing can be made the same way. Chalk can be used to draw on a paved area and you may be lucky enough to find square paving slabs. Line marking equipment is ideal for shorter grass, while a mower can cut a line in longer grass for larger designs.
